How to Get Started With Downloading and Installing the App
You can download and install the LOKLiK app on a MAC, IOS, Windows PC, tablet, or smartphone. Start by visiting the official LOKLiK website and downloading it from the downloads section. Click “Install” to run the downloaded file, and accept the license agreement to complete the setup.
Input a username and password to create a new account. This will help you save projects and material presets in the cloud, sync projects across devices, and enable you to make a premium subscription.
In the connection settings, connect the app to a LOKLiK or HTVRONT machine using WIFI or a USB cable, and you are ready to start working on your new project.
Operating the Different Workspaces and Pages
Every section of the software is designed to make it easier for you to design and seamlessly access all your projects.
The Home Page
This is the first screen after signing in. Here, you can connect the app to your laser engraving machine and manage it using the “My device” section.

To add a new device connection, click on the plus sign at the top right corner of the section.

To reconnect to a previously used device, just click on “My device” and select from the list.

Discover
This section has 5 of the most popular material categories. Tapping on either category will open another page with pictures with related content that you can use as your designs. Below this section, there are features such as “most liked”, “Popular”, and “New”. Here you can further explore more designs and find new inspirations for your projects.

The Canvas Workspace
This is the page where you will spend most of your time, designing and editing your design. To start, tap the canvas button to open a blank workspace. There are free tools such as Make, Save, Upload, Text, Layer, Position, Edit Point, and Shape. Some of the premium tools are AI Drawing and Pen.

Save- it lets you store and organize designs in renameable files and folders.
Library- Gives you access to tons of design elements that you can add to your canvas and edit freely.
Shape- Lets you add different shapes to your design by tapping it.
Text- this button adds a customizable text box in the workspace. You can change the font, size, and style of the text however you want.
Pen- it gives you control to draw on the canvas freely by hand.
Upload- it lets you import images from your device straight onto the canvas.
AI Drawing- Allows you to convert text to an image, and image to an AI-generated image using different prompts and styles.
Edit- You can flip, offset, fill, align, array, size, or arrange elements in the design.
Action- use buttons under this section to view, copy, group and ungroup, or delete elements.
If your canvas is empty, you will get a heads-up to upload an image first.

The Library
The main tools are “Add to Canvas”, “Search”, “Favourites”, and “Filters”. Starring lets you save favourite images. The Filter button helps you narrow down your search to find exactly what you need based on the price, theme, and operation type.

Extra processing is required if the images require vectorization before adding them to the canvas. Tap on the add button, set the color tolerance and clear color blocks before using as your design.

For those that don’t require vectorization, just tap on the add button, and the system will take care of the rest.
Me Page
All your content and settings are stored here.

These are some of the buttons’ functions.
My projects- Stores all your previous canvas designs.

AI collections- Stores all your AI-generated artwork.
Favourites- Stores your saved materials.
Settings- Manages the system and privacy options.

Messages- Keeps you up to date with the system's notifications.
New device test- Allows you to try out exciting new features before they launch.

Task List- Helps you track your production processes.
Help- You can find support and tutorials here whenever you need them.

How To Make Your First Project Using the LOKLiK App
Here is how to utilize all the pages to create and cut(vinyl cutter) or engrave (laser engraving machine) a design using the app.
Step 1: Open the App
Create and sign in to your LOKLiK account, then connect the software to the device using a USB cable or wifi.
Step 2: Start a new project
Press the “New Project” button to start working on a blank canvas. The workspace should be the same size as your material and machine bed.

Step 3: Design and Edit
Import an image from the device’s storage or generate one using the AI feature on the app.

You can also choose a ready-made template from the “Discover” page. Edit the design by adding shapes and text, resizing, moving, rotating, and aligning all the elements in place.

Step 4: Check the Operations for Each Element
Assign roles to each element, either to cut, engrave, or score. Choose a material preset or manually input the settings for the operation.
In the connected laser engraving machine, load and secure your material, then conduct a frame test.

Step 5: Preview and send
On the preview page, verify that everything is in order, including the correct image size and orientation (if necessary), and that the order of operations is accurate.
FAQs About Using the LOKLiK App
1. What files does the LOKLiK app support?
You can import both vector and bitmap artwork into the app. It supports SVG, PNG, JPG, BMP, and DXF. For high contrast engraving, it is advisable to use bitmap images. For clean cutting, work with vector files.
2. Is it possible to use the LOKLiK App offline?
Yes, you can use the app’s main functions, such as opening and saving projects, creating and editing designs, and running jobs to connected laser engraving machines using USB cables, while offline. However, features such as downloading projects and updates from the internet, using AI, and syncing projects all require an internet connection.
3. Do I need to pay for the designs on the Discover page?
The page has both free and premium designs. The free designs are marked with a “Free” label. You need to purchase the premium designs or upgrade your account by purchasing a subscription from the app.
4. How can I sync my designs between two devices?
Syncing has to be done online. Start by saving your project in the cloud, rather than in a local folder. On the second device, open the library and look for the cloud projects section. Download and open the synced folder. Any changes made are accessible on both devices.
5. Why am I unable to preview my work before sending it to the laser engraver?
It is either because you have not assigned any operation to the project, are using an unsupported file format or elements, your file is corrupt or incompatible, or all your layers are hidden or locked.
