Introduction
Creativity is everywhere! The H1 Mini Heat Press is a lightweight, portable, and fast-heating multifunctional heat press machine, compatible with various household and outdoor power sources. Its compact design makes it perfect for beginners, home users, and small DIY business owners to create heat transfer projects anytime, anywhere.
The teardrop-shaped pointed tip easily tackles the challenges of pressing small corners, narrow areas, and irregular surfaces that larger heat presses can't handle. It’s ideal for hat brims, canvas shoes, collar logos, wallets, eye masks, or sports event badges—unlocking endless creative possibilities!
1. Preparation
Inside the box, you’ll find:
- A user manual
- An insulated safety base
- The H1 Mini Heat Press

In addition, you’ll need to prepare the following items:
- Heat press substrates (e.g., T-shirts, scarves, canvas shoes, etc.)
- PTFE sheets (also known as Teflon sheets)
- Scissors
- Your design (usually heat transfer vinyl, DTF printing film, or printable vinyl)
- Heat-resistant tape

2. Power on the Mini Heat Press
After connecting the power cord, the indicator light on the Mini Heat Press will turn green.

3. Set Temperature & Pre-press
Turn the knob to select one of the three heat levels: 1, 2, or 3. Once you switch the heat level, the green light will turn red, indicating that the device is heating up to the selected temperature. When the red light turns green again, the desired temperature has been reached.
You can determine the appropriate heat level based on the material of your substrate.

We recommend pre-pressing your substrate on heat level 1. This step helps remove moisture from the substrate and reduces wrinkles.
As we know, water has a high specific heat capacity, and excess moisture in your substrate can prevent the heat transfer vinyl from reaching the required temperature, potentially causing improper adhesion between your design and the substrate.
Additionally, smoothing out the surface of the substrate ensures better contact between the substrate and the heat transfer vinyl, improving the overall pressing effect and reducing the risk of design peeling.
4. Design Placement
Use heat-resistant tape to secure your design onto the substrate, then cover your design with a PTFE sheet (Teflon sheet).

5. Heat Pressing
As mentioned earlier, when the H1 Mini Heat Press reaches the preset temperature, the indicator light will turn green. At this point, you can start pressing your design.
Apply consistent pressure for 15 seconds to ensure your design fully transfers onto the substrate. If your design is larger, repeat this step multiple times to ensure the entire area is pressed evenly.

Important Note: After finishing the heat press process, return the H1 Mini Heat Press to the insulated safety base and switch it back to "OFF" to avoid accidental burns.
6. Peel & Done
Once the substrate and heat transfer vinyl have cooled down, peel off the transfer film/vinyl. This step is called a "cold peel." Most heat transfer vinyl and DTF films created with DTF printers require cold peeling.
Only puff heat transfer vinyl and sublimation paper require a "hot peel," meaning the transfer film should be removed immediately after pressing while still hot.
